Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster Make Public Debut as a Couple on Santa Monica Dinner Date

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster seemingly confirmed their relationship status by being spotted on a dinner date on Monday evening.

New photographs show the 56-year-old X-Men actor and the 49-year-old Broadway star holding hands and smiling as they enjoyed a night out in Santa Monica, California.

This appearance aligns with recent reports that Jackman is set to go public with his new "girlfriend" soon.

This new romance follows the announcement in September 2023 by Hugh and his estranged wife, Deborra-lee Furness, that they were ending their 27-year marriage.

In the images, Jackman sports a casual yet stylish look with a charcoal zip-up jacket over a slim gray sweater, paired with tan chinos and black sneakers. He also has a distinguished salt-and-pepper beard and his hair is slightly longer than usual.

Foster, on the other hand, opts for a chic look with a long double-breasted cashmere overcoat featuring military-inspired details like a storm flap and epaulets. She paired it with a dark green maxi dress that flows elegantly to her ankles.

Her shoulder-length brunette hair is styled straight, and she completes her look with classic black pumps.

As Hugh and Sutton walked down the sidewalk, they held hands tightly and occasionally gazed into each other's eyes.

The former co-stars appeared to be enjoying themselves, sharing smiles and laughter.

Representatives for Jackman and Foster have not yet commented on their evening out.

Their outing follows Jackman's attendance at a performance of Foster’s production of Once Upon A Mattress in Los Angeles over the weekend. The show had recently transferred from New York after concluding its run there in November.

The two stars had previously shared the stage on Broadway, playing lead roles in a well-received revival of the classic musical The Music Man.

Jackman is not the only one going through a recent divorce, as Foster filed for an uncontested divorce from her husband, Ted Griffin, in October of last year.
